Business. Perspective. Possibility.

01 / Strategic advisory

You don’t have to
think it through alone.

The most consequential decisions rarely come with an obvious answer.

A new opportunity. A capital constraint. A partner’s proposal. A business that’s growing faster than your ability to lead it.

I work directly with owners and CEOs facing consequential business decisions. We examine the numbers, challenge assumptions, and work through the tradeoffs—drawing on my experience building, growing, and selling a company. It’s a confidential advisory relationship with someone who understands the responsibility of making the final call.

A thinking partner for the person carrying the responsibility.

The conversations that matter

Sound familiar?

Real decisions. Competing priorities.
Room for a clearer view.

Growth & direction01

Is a bigger business the right business for you?

Test opportunities against the margins, capacity, and life you actually want.

Capital & capacity02

Will your financing support your next move?

Think through working capital, credit, bonding, and the cost of saying yes.

Partnerships & teaming03

What could you build with the right partner?

Weigh shared opportunity, complementary strengths, and the risks worth taking.

Delegation & systems04

Why does every decision still come back to you?

Build confidence in the people and systems that let you step back without losing quality.

Risk & tradeoffs05

What are you not seeing from where you sit?

Challenge assumptions and consider the second-order consequences before committing.

Value & exit06

What do you want this business to make possible?

Clarify your endgame, whether that means an eventual sale, more freedom, or a different kind of growth.

02 / Experience, earned

I’ve sat on your
side of the table.

Six consecutive years
on the Inc. 5000

America’s fastest-growing privately held companies.

At our sixth recognition, Inc. noted that only 3% of honorees had appeared on the list six times.

I grew Burgos Group from roughly $90,000 to $35 million in annual revenue before ultimately selling the company.

Along the way, I navigated the financing, partnerships, people, and systems that growth demands.

That experience shapes the questions I ask—and the perspective I bring to your decisions.

My greatest financial success came in the federal marketplace. That experience is a particular strength for owners working in government contracting. The broader lessons apply wherever people are building businesses.

Today, I bring that experience to owners and CEOs thinking through their own next chapter.

03 / Working together

Experienced judgment.
An ongoing relationship.

A shared understanding of your business
makes each conversation more valuable.

01

Start with your world.

We talk about your business, the decisions in front of you, and what you want from it. We both get a sense of whether the fit is right.

02

Create room to think.

Regular conversations, informed by the relevant numbers and documents, create space to identify blind spots, weigh tradeoffs, and decide what to do next.

03

Stay connected.

When a consequential issue arises between conversations, you have an advisor who already knows the context. We agree on a rhythm and access that work for both of us.

04 / Beyond the business

There’s more to see
from a different vantage point.

Mountains, travel, and unfamiliar places remind me how much changes when you change where you’re standing. I bring that same curiosity to business and to the question of what comes next.

MountainThinker reflects how I approach business and life: stay curious, seek different perspectives, and think carefully about what comes next. I bring that same approach to my work with owners and CEOs.

A conversation is a good place to start.
